LENS REVIEW: EOS G303 Green

I got these lenses a long time ago..perhaps more than a year ago?  I guess that's the problem with hoarding, I can't open everything at once -_-, lol.  Because then I'd have a ton of lenses rarely used, it'd be a problem.

Anyhow, these lenses aren't readily available because they lack popularity.  I don't see these lenses often, if at all in shops.  The general idea would be to pre-order these if you really wanted them, then wait a million years.  I don't know if EOS still makes these..don't take my word for it.

However, I did come across a lens very similar but I couldn't find it.  It went under a different name.."Vanny"?  I don't know.  It really doesn't matter, because I'm sure there are so many other 3 tone lenses that give off a similar effect as these.  I'm sure you'll agree.

Quick Sketch: XiaXue

The ever so pretty Xiaxue.  I love her photos and decided to draw her while I was helping my boyfriend with some work event.  My phone was about to die so I wanted to get her face drawn as fast as I could and improvise the rest of the pic.  I couldn't draw her bunny so I drew a bunny necklace.. I know it doesn't look like Igloo..will do better next time.  I did this in about an hour.

I actually want to draw another pic I absolutely love of her..it's so gorgeous.  I plan on being a little more creative and will probably spend more than an hour on it.  Will post up.

'Till then..enjoy!  And let me know what you think!!! :)

Thanks!
Sara.

Amuse Pro-eyeshadow palette in "All Natural" - Swatches + Initial thoughts

Warning...Pic heavy.

I purchased this palette strictly out of curiosity.  It was one of those purchases I didn't think much of, lol.  This palette originally priced for $4.00 off Cherryculture.com, but I got it on sale for $1.99 during their 'March Madness' event.

Post by: [HYSTERICMINT] - How Defective Circle Lenses Damaged my Eyes

This isn't my post.

Instead, I feel the need to help spread the word and remind ourselves on how much extra caution we should all take when purchasing circle lenses, or contact lenses of any sort.

As an avid, obsessive, lensaholic, I'm still very weary about where I get my lenses from and I only purchase from a select few stores.   Really, only two or three regularly.

I strongly believe and will support a company that stands on moral ground and has good business ethics, that genuinely cares for their customers well being, rather than just looking to make a buck and get a good review.  A company that will NOT resort to excuses, and would rather find a solution when said situations arise.

After reading about [HYSTERICMINT]'s unfortunate experience, it made me learn and know more when it comes to a company's business ethics, what they're about, and what to expect should a problem surface.  It is definitely an eye opener and makes me think thrice on where to purchase my lenses from now on.  Also, before even being sponsored a pair of lenses, or purchasing a pair of lenses, to further my research on a company, their reviews (specifically and more importantly, from non-sponsorees).

If you wear lenses like me, and have the time, I strongly urge you to take a few minutes out of your day and read her story.

Till next time,

LENS REVIEW: MI E-type Peach *Sponsored*

Hello everyone,

I'm so tired.  It's specing season at work and people are working overtime, even this long weekend.  Not me though, I'm heading back to my hometown to celebrate my momma's bday!  I did do OT the last two weekends though, so I'm pretty drained.  Plus, work is so far from home T_T

I wanted to share this lens review before heading out..or even going to bed tonight.

These lenses were kindly sponsored by the amazing Kiwiberry1.  I really like these lenses and why I didn't get them earlier?  I don't know.  But I'm very lucky to be given a chance to sport these babies.  If you have brown eyes like me and are looking for something natural, keep reading.  If not, go to bed.  hahaha.  I'm kidding.

Cherry Culture Haul + Giveaway Winners

I just wanted to share the mini haul I got from CherryCulture.com.  This is my first time ordering from them and I'm pretty satisfied overall.  I didn't get one item because it was out of stock and they didn't tell me.  But, they did reimburse me immediately for the item.  So I guess it cancels each other out?

I decided to purchase from them during their March Madness event where tonnes of items were between 20-50% off.  Many still are, so go check it out :).  I'm sure plenty of you know this site already, and their items are really, really cheap..price and quality.  However, there are alot of good deals on higher quality drugstore brands like Nyx..  okay..so only Nyx that I can think of.  Still, it gave me a chance to try out some other brands I've never heard and were curious about.  And for 2 bucks a pop..why not?

So anyways, here's what I got...
  • Amuse Pro-eyeshadow palette in "All Natural"
  • Nyx Cream Blush in "Orange"
  • Nyx Single eyeshadow in "Golden Orange" << I got this because I heard it's a dupe for Nars blush "Taj Mahal"
  • Amuse Matte Lipstick in "Bloom Pink"
  • L.A. Girl Lipstick in "Secret Admirer"
  • L.A. Girl Lipstick in "Love Letters"
  • The one item out of stock was Milani Blush in "Sunset Beach" << Which I was looking forward to!
